Well, I'm 100% sure that the problem doesn't come from Acrobat Reader 5.0 on
Windows. It's the one I have and I've just read the whole document without
seeing a single square. And I even just used the Acrobat plugin in Internet
Explorer, which often doesn't work as well as Acrobat Reader when run
separately. I guess you must have a problem on your computer only. You should
uninstall Acrobat Reader and reinstall it from Adobe. Maybe the installation
you have is faulty.
