A class that meets 3 times a week for 1 hour each is a 3-credit-hour class;
similarly, a class that meets twice a week for two hours would be a 4-credit-hour
class. For some few classes, the number of hours and credit-hours are not
the same, but usually they are. (Natural science labs, e.g. usually have
more hours than credit-hours, and some classes have no credit-hours at all.)
