Actually, I suspect it depends on the college--some may average, others
may just take the highest, or the median, or who knows what. My
impression is that SAT really isn't that big a deal unless you do
exceptionally horribly--and even then, if you have stellar grades and
great recommendations and they know what sorts of people your high school
turns out, they'll overlook SAT's. I took 'em once, got 800V and 700M,
and my !@#$ dad wanted me to *retake* it to improve my math score. I
refused. <sardonic g> There is more to life than a pair of numbers.
