Funny, after a year of Canadian history, my teacher never mentioned that. It
seemed like the book was selected American history regurgitated to make
Canada sound like an American protogé. I don't think the teacher put much
effort into finding a good book either. Its title was "Canada: A North
American Nation"... I mean, if you can't come up with a better name than that
for a book containing an entire nation's history, you are in serious
imaginative trouble!
