A similar reason is why I abandoned <y> and <w> in Utakassí. The final
straw was a prefix which was yu- before consonants and iw- before
vowels! Now it's just iu-. Also, all those final -u's becoming -w
before the suffix -i is added.

Good for him can be used as praise, at least, around here I've heard it
used thus.
