Of course it's the reason.  It's quite uncommon in languages for numbers
not to be based on either 5 (i.e., one hand), 10 (i.e., both hands), or
20 (i.e., all digits).  I've heard of a language with base-8, but those
people counted on the *spaces* between their fingers, and I think I've
heard of base-12 systems being used.  At least, I hope there are, since
I incorporated a bit of base 12 into Roumán.  :-)
