That would be the "Dear-Diary" person, I guess ?
Don't forget the 2nd plural inanimate, like in the
famous verses (Lmartine, if I'm not mistaken):
"Objets inanimes, avez-vous donc une ame
Qui s'attache à notre ame et la force d'aimer ?"
(supposing an e acute in "inanimes" and a circumflex
in "ame")
