I love You
Silindion:
High Silindion:
mirísi línti
mir "love" + -i- (present thematic i-root)+ -si "I"
línti "thee" (accusative) (< obl. lit+ni)
Low Silindion:
mirísili
the only difference is the use of the enclitic -li "thee" instead of the accusative.
Northern Nindic:
miril hwy
mir "love" + -i- present 1st singular + -l 2nd singular objective
hwy "I"
(The accent is on the first syllable: míril, if it was on the second syllable,
then it would be: miríl, essentially the same as mirîl meaning "You Love")
Western Nindic:
ae hi o îl miriel la
/'ajšO i:l mIr'jel la/
ae "am"
hi "I"
o "at/in"
îl "thy"
miriel "loving" (verbal noun)
la (enclitic 2nd singular pronoun)
