For loglan(g) purposes, "ambiguity" is usually understood as
polysemy (many meanings) that cannot be captured by a reasonable
inclusion relationship.  "Animal" is not an ambiguous term, though
polysemous between cats, dogs, meerkats, ....  "Bug" is ambiguous
because its meanings include "true bug", "insect", "bacterium",
"industrial process defect", which cannot sensibly be brought into a
single category.
