I would suggest that you underestimate the impact of this.

To summarize: Your wiki will die for the same reasons as the rest:
lack of content and ongoing support.

I strongly recommend that, instead, you try helping out with one of
the major existing projects, like langmaker, frathwiki, etc, or
helping in a meta role of creating a merged wiki.
