Depends on your predilections, whether mp3 is free or not. I use lame, which is free. But I'd advise you to shell out for CoolEdit, which is nifty and can work with mp3 files directly. Find a time-limited copy on tucows. Going from realaudio to mp3 is a problem I haven't solved myself yet. Boudewijn Rempt | http://www.valdyas.org
