Well, the nature of the written language causes it to look like several
different romance language (I think). But, I think it all fits together
nicely though. Much of the reason the others look similar to Spanish is
because there werent many sound changes that could affect them to make
them different (unlike the example you pointed out ;). I purposely had
Montreiano follow lines similar to Spanish in its vowels in order for it
to look more ibero-romance.
But overall, i think the language has achieved the softness I was looking
for :).
