Coming in late, and vague.... but I'm sure I've seen prehistoric star-charts
_somewhere_, more likely in books than on-line......I have seen terrestrial
maps showing land-forms at various stages in the far past (last glaciation--
Sundaland; the movement of Australia/New Guinea, etc.)
IIRC from some History or Discovery channel programs, there's speculation
that the pyramids are MUCH older than believed, and were oriented according
to star positions of ca. 10,000 BCE (Orion?) that have changed (it's kookery
of course......), plus similary left-field beliefs about something to do
with the Dogon people. Something to look into perhaps.
