Truly. Particularly the ones for East Asian languages (like Malay or Tamil,
which I recall)-- one got the impression that they only aimed to teach you
how to complain in Language X.
"You have made the sleeves too short"
"This food is cold. I cannot eat it."
"The pack fell off the horse because you did not tie it properly"
and so on and so on.
Nowadays of course we parody this.
