        The page http://www.zompist.com/phrases.html is a *great* tourist
phrase book that follows this line. The first phrase is "I wish to
complain!", and they get more interesting from there.

        I also did something similar (but worse) for some friends in
Esperanto. Phrases like:
Garcon, estas kadavro sur la bufedo.
GAR.tson, ES.tas ka.DAV.rro sur la bu.FE.do.
        and
Cxu vi konas, kie mi povus acxeti kapran sangon sen polica atentemo?
chu vi KON.as, KI.e mi POV.us a.CHE.ti KAP.ran SAN.gon sen po.LITS.a
a.tent.EM.o?
