Hmmm... Well, it happens that /d/ is only about half as common as /t/ in Tirehlat, but /D/ is much rarer. However, the main reason it's such a rare consonant is that I've only recently added it to the phoneme inventory. One of the things I'm going to be doing in the near future is go through the vocabulary list and change words that I didn't care much for in the first place to use some of the rarer phonemes. It's an interesting system, but it would take some getting used to, and that would defeat the purpose of using a romanized spelling (it would be just as easy to learn the V'lika letters for these sounds). -- languages of Azir------> ---<http://www.io.com/~hmiller/lang/index.html>--- hmiller (Herman Miller) "If all Printers were determin'd not to print any @io.com email password: thing till they were sure it would offend no body, \ "Subject: teamouse" / there would be very little printed." -Ben Franklin
