Yep, the form is "abgeschrieben".

It's not true that those are the only ones. Verbs with inseparable
prefixes don't have 'ge-' in their past participle forms; verbs with
separable prefixes (or no prefix) have the 'ge-'. (I think even all the
suppletive forms like 'gewesen' have the 'ge-', at least I can't think of
a counterexample right off-hand.)
be+schneiden - be+schnitten
ver+schneiden - ver+schnitten
ent+schneiden - ent+schnitten
emp+finden - emp+funden
zer+schneiden - zer+schnitten
er+ringen - er+rungen
ge+winnen - ge+wonnen [not the past-participle 'ge+', synchronically]
unter+nehmen - unter+nommen
ueber+holen - ueber+holt
Note that inseparable prefixes are unstressed, and separable prefixes are
stressed, and that 'unter+' and 'ueber+' also occur as separable prefixes.
There's also a prefix 'miss+' that seems to be in transition -- some
dialects and colloquial standard varieties treat it as separable, and it
takes stress when it comes before an inseparable prefix (miss+ver+stehen -
miss+ver+standen).
