Well, I've never specifically tried to get rid of
DItransitives before, but I did a lang once that had
no transitives at all. No objects were possible. All
verbs were intransitive. I remember none of the
vocabulary at present, but the grammar was rather
interesting (to me).
To say something like:
The man gave the book to the boy.
you'd traslate to:
man book boy gave was-given recieved.
Needless to say passive verbs were extreemly important
to the language.
