<<ObConlang: I've always thought that Latin was overused for magic
spells, and thought a special Language of Magic would make more sense.
I assume others have had this same thought, and was wondering what
they imagined/created for such a language?>>

Oddly enough, a group from Poland contacted me awhile back about
using Kele for a role playing game they were creating. Since my Kele
is just the language that I created from a word list I came up with, I told
them they create whatever language they wanted just using the word list,
which is here:

Apparently they are using it. To me, the Kele word list seemed wholly
inappropriate for the type of role playing game they were creating (wizards,
orcs, dragons, knights, etc.), but maybe those are just my preconceptions--
kind of like with Latin being associated with magic.

If I were to imagine what a magic language might be like, I think it would
probably end up *feeling* a lot like Latin or some old Germanic language.
It would certainly be far different from something like Kele. Sound
symbolism
is powerful stuff. Hey, what about the magic language Gary started? Dang,
I have been to that website in a looong time. What was the url again?
