Just so. _quinctus_ is the archaic version of _quintus_ 'fifth', and
all the various words derived from it (the personal name _Quintus_, the
gens name _Quintilius_, the month name _Quintilis_, etc.) can all be
spelled quinct-.
But certainly quint- is not wrong.
