Quite so; I wonder if many languages have borrowed it _as a verb_, like: Indonesian kodak ~ mengodak 'to take a picture'. (My dict. lists no other uses or derivs.) I suppose in time words like Prozac, Viagra could take on interesting popular meanings, though for the moment they're just trade names. The (restricted) world of computers/hackers seems to have lots of neologisms
