lenition... you could always fall back on the old dot above the letter, which I always liked. I presume with eclipsis you'd do as in Irish, but the idea of those big bulky cyrillic letters accumulating at the beginning of a word makes me think the method of simply replacing (co'ta -> bhur go'ta) would look nicer. (It's alright for russian though! ;)
