The vowel sounds I hate most are: @, and other quite central vowels, and
u (which is slightly odd I guess for an english speaker, since we have
central vowels all over the place). I much prefer the sound of front
vowels, although o is okay... but u occurs in every conlang I've started
except one, because I feel like I ought to include it, since most
languages have a vowel close to each vertex of the "triangle" i a u.
