Today, all of our teachers (except perhaps one) either essentially
encouraged us to watch the news broadcasts instead of do work, or couldn't
run a class because they had American relatives that they were worried
about. Anyway, all of today, people all around the campus were reading
newspapers or listening to radios. The amount of attention they gave the TV
and radio broadcasts was amazing.
At least people made no jokes about it; this is truly a tragic event... I
hope that things end up turning for the better, and that these acts of
violence kill no more innocent people.
