At the high-school level, I wouldn't expect you to get much interest.
When I was in school "English" (oriented more toward linguistics) was
one of the most hated subjects.

Here's where there may be a chance of making it work. Conlanging may
offer an element of "fun" to the subject. Getting the powers-that-be to
approve such a curriculum may be an issue here.
