[mElk] is found in parts of Western New York and I think Western Pennsylvania and
Ohio and maybe further west as well.

I pronounce [m1lk] and [barb@kju] (from south eastern New York state)

Not that I have any expertise, but I pronounce it
[EndZ.leN] or maybe a little towards [EndZle@N]. I speak central Canadian
English.

I also figure that everyone is allowed a few mispronunciations, I have some
that I think mark my idiolect and I refuse to change them, the main one is
[m1lk], I pronounce as [mElk], no one ever told me wrong, till about a year
ago, and I'm 19.
the other is [b&r/b@kjub] for [b&r/b@kju]
