Italogallic in Zera, and other languages.

Well, after some thinking and a little lurking on ItaloGallic languages, I
think it would be nice to redefine how Italy evolved in Zera:

First, Italy didn't unite the way it did in our timeline. All the southern
provinces, including Sardinia and Sicily, joined into a country around
Naples. Northern provinces, including Tuscany and Corsica, joined around
Genova-Venice, while Tuscany remind as the most important cultural
influence. Later on history, Lombardy grew up in political and cultural
importance at the time the Genova and Venice began a decadency while the
Mediterranean commerce lost importance against industrialization. When
obligatory schooling and mass media began some 100 years ago, Lombardian
became the de facto interlingua in Northern Italy while Toscanian reminded
as the _official_ language (except Tuscany, most classes were given in
Lombardian while Toscanian where studied). 50 years ago, Lombardian was
upgraded as official language besides Toscanian and both are called
_languages_, while all other dialects are called _dialects_. Rome and
Latium reminded under Pope's realm until Christian XX century, when Latium
excluding Vatican city, where _invaded_ by Southern Italy and the Capital
city where moved from Naples to Rome.

Any good names for Northern and Southern Italy in this alternative history?

On Northern Europe, with Hapsburgs less powerfull than in OTL, the Thirty
Years War favoured that Danish and Swedish kingdoms joined politicaly and
economically with protestant principats in Germany. Lower Saxony and Prusia
where upgraded as kingdoms. Denmark was a little more interested in
Greenland and Nothern Columbian, exploating its natural resources, allowing
Lower Saxony, Prusia and Sweden join more closely, until those kingdoms
(including Poland, Eestland and Finland), became one Empire (under Charles
XII of Sweden or somone like him). The Empire status where changed when the
Baltic Empire became the Baltic Republic, and the official language where
based mainly in Luther's German with several borrowings from all the spoken
languages, and the grammar simplified under Swedish patterns.

Some other bits on Zera history will be dropped from time to time.
