For me, q is any stop (or affricate) and x any spirant (except labials in both cases) for which no other Roman letter fits ;) In Albanian, q is voiceless palatal stop/affricate, and x is [d_z]. But, actually, I wouldn't mind any other use if the whole orthography is consistent. Basilius
