- Q and X don't exist in the romanization of my main conlang Rokbeigalmki, but {x} and {X} are the keys for {tz} and {ch} for typing in the native font on my computer, and {q} is where the vowel {ai} is. In my Romance conlang Jûdajca, Q(U) is used for an emphatic /k/ sound. the U is used when the sound isn't word-final: aqua ['ak.a] "water" Jizcâq [jis.'HAk.] "Isaac" And X is used for the emphatic /t/ sound: nox [not.] "night" maxâl [ma't.Al] "to kill" Btw, the third emphatic sound, /s/, is represented by Z: noz [nos.] "night of" zârôt [s.A'rows] "troubles" -Stephen (Steg) "my anaconda don't want none unless..." ~ the immortal _baby got back_ song
