He usually does. But, there are occasions when he doesn't, as in "Help
you I can", which is VOS or the totally non-exotic "I cannot teach him.
The boy has no patience". Perhaps his native lang is OSV, and he often
slips into that, and sometimes manages to get the correct order. There
are even occasional V2-seeming sentences "For eight hundred years have I
trained Jedi".
