One meeting place allows for possibly beneficial cross-pollination of ideas.
A standard forum format allows for separate forums for specific interest
groups, but a general meeting place for all. I see no harm in that.
Specialization is good. Isolation, not so much. The ability to have both in one
place can't be a bad thing.
