If someone uses MS Outlook (not Outlook Express) and sends
a message in Rich Text Format or HTML, then Outlook adds a
file called winmail.dat to the message. If the user sent file
attachments, these are also embedded in the winmail.dat file.
If the recipient is using Outlook, then all is well. Otherwise, you
get a file of junk. There are freeware programs available on the
web which will extract any embedded attached files from this
winmail.dat. Do a Goole search on winmail.dat
