Not so uncommon. My mother and I both have "boughten"; though never used
in a compound verb. I would contrast "home made bread" with "boughten
bread"; but would never say "I had boughten that bread for tomorrow's
dinner." My mother's sisters also have this, as I recall, so it may well
be a feature of North Country (NY) locallect.
