Nuns (that is, priestesses of Naigha, who are celibate except on the
midwinter feast - don't ask) and religious knights (male and female).
I thought of using either group for the translation, but it world
have warped my world-view; neither the Temple of Naigha nor the Order
of the Sworn of Anshen would go to the people living in the Western
Plain (the Valdyan equivalent of Indian tribes) with sacred books
under their arm.
