Gypsy kings and Alabina do a similar mix of styles. They've even done a
song together, called "Habibi Ya Nour El Ein". Alabina's songs are often
fast paced, but they have some slower ones, some salsa - La Cubanita, Ya
Mama Ya Mama), A french one "Comme Toi", and a Hebrew song "Shir
Ha'keshet".

I do like hard beats, but continual repetetive ones that are the main
focus of the song get tiring (i cant stand hard house, which has a very
repetitive simple beat......like pounding on a door, for 5 minutes or so).
I like electronic that has wonderful melodies, along with strong beats. I
also prefer songs that have kind of a dark feeling to them.

Exactly, whatever floats your boat.
