I dunno. For an American, I'm pretty boring: not only are
both my mother and father both of Scottish ancestry, they're
both even from the same Clan, the MacNaughtons, although
on my grandmother's side there was a good bit of Scotch-Irish
and English too.
[A neat family fact I just found out a couple weeks ago:
during the Civil War, my great-great-grandfather, Capt.
Thomas D. Wier, was interned in a prisoner of war camp
just a couple miles from where I'm now studying in Chicago.]
