Comes from Old Norse. By this stage, there's been no Norse influence on Ancient Føtisk. In Old Norse, it originally meant 'that which has been laid down'. I've contemplated using it, but I think I might prefer something more original (i.e. Old English is my main source for AF at this stage and I want to be a bit different. The same, but different). -- Tristan.
