IIRC, Solresol itself had a color representation, whereby the seven syllables/notes were mapped onto the seven spectral colors in a natural way.

This concept is used in Vernor Vinge's sf novel _Fire Upon The Deep_. Individuals of the "Tines" species have multiple bodies, and assign a single syllable to each body (there can be from 4 to 6 of them). The full name is spoken by saying each syllable simultaneously, one from each throat. For example, the four "members" Wic, Krk, Rac, and Rum form an individual whose name is approximated in English as "Wickrackrum", although of course English can't really handle the lack of sequencing that the true Tinish chord provides. -- John Cowan http://www.ccil.org/~cowan cowan@ccil.org Please leave your values | Check your assumptions.
