The creator of Almaqerin (and Sitarwelas) is Didier Willis, a French conlanger I
had the pleasure to meet a few times three years ago, when he and Mathias
Lassailly were more active on the list. Didier has left since then, because of
lack of time, and Mathias seems to have left too, though I hope he's just
lurking out there :) . I know a little bit of Almaqerin (one of the first
conlangs I encountered on the web, together with Teonaht) though not more than
what's on the website. As for contacting Didier, I'm unfortunately unable to do
that. I have to check, but the e-mail address I have is probably the same as the
one you can find in his website. I'll check as soon as possible. It's true that
it's been a long time and I'd like to take contact with him again. It was very
interesting talking to him.
He used to be quite active in studying Tolkienish material, especially
linguistic and philologistic (I have one of his articles about the numerical
value of Runes and Tengwar in some of Tolkien's drawings which is very
interesting), so maybe he's still active on Tolkien-devoted mailing lists, at
least in French? I don't know, but at least that's a direction where you could
check.
Sorry to be of so little help.
Christophe.
