My favourite one of those was the first episode of The X-Files, which was
clearly marked "Inspired By Actual Accounts", as if *that* means anything.
The subject has kinda sorta put me in the mood to think about evidentials,
too, and probably expressing them by the use of auxilliaries that work
very much like causatives in Thagojian. Hmmmm. <strokey-beard-moment> I'll
get back to you on that one.
