Gevey uses a system of prepositions and noun cases. There are 4 dative cases in Gevey (used for indirect objects): systemic, motive, temporal and spatial, and a number of generic prepositions whose meanings change according to the case of the noun to which they are attached. The generic prepositions can also be used with direct objects, if permitted by the principal verb. Thus to develop your examples:
>The man stands outside the forest >Loife pole dost'ye sandehrh
Loife, ye loif [subject noun] - man pole [spatial verb] - stands, is situated sandrhe, ye sandehrh [direct object noun] - forest dost, dosta [preposition, with spatial verb] - outside
>The man walks towards the forest >Loife trhade tas'ye sandehrh
Loife, ye loif [subject noun] - man trhade [motive verb] - walks sandrhe, ye sandehrh [direct object noun] - forest ta, tas [preposition, with motive noun] - towards
>The man walks into the forest >Loife trhade ist'ye sandehrh
