ROTFL! This reminds me of H. P. Lovecraft, who liked to put his friends' names into his weird fiction: Robert (Bob) Bloch -> Bho-Blok Clark Ashton Smith -> Klarkash-Ton One of them returned the favor by introducing the character "Luveh-keraphf", where the final cluster (obConlang) is interesting --- it seems to be an aspirated labial affricate. Chinese (pinyin) "c" is the only other aspirate affricate that comes to mind. If "ph" = /f/, then it might just be a geminated spirant [ff], but "ph" and "th" in Lovecraft are usually aspirates, as in "Nyarlathotep" [njar 'lat ho tEp] and "Cthulhu" ['kthu Lu]. -- John Cowan http://www.ccil.org/~cowan cowan@ccil.org You tollerday donsk?
