I purposefully made the two phrases more entirely parallel 'cos I think that
makes it sound more like an easily memorized saying. If you prefer it to
sound more technical/legalistic (think a robotic philosopher-accountant!)
you could go for the gerund instead; _Ez dashent laists seizh ai ez dashent
kendz seizh_ "The possession of a second language is the possession of a
second soul/mind".
