Welcome on my behalf, too. I've been conlanging seriously for even shorter a
time than you (only since 2004) but my learning curve has taken a serious
upslant since joining this list... you can probably expect experiencing the
same.

Am I really that memorable? :) Anyway, yes, I'm Finnish, always happy to
provide an Uralic natlang example, and as far as the stats go, a twenty-odd
mad scientist in training, but lacking the goatee & the other regalia.
Still, not going to object to the "crazy" notion. ;D
My first conlang project indeed is called uwjge (alt. spelling: ûjge); it is
however nowhere near the stage where it warrants being called "created" in
the past tense. I also have lots of other projects floating around ... my
conlanging of late tends to be a holistic mess where features of all sizes
jump from one language to another quite on a whim. I hope some will
eventually settle together if I keep throwing new ones into the fray.
