Probably forever. There are too many pages out there that will never
be updated. Plus, the Microsoft is lazy and probably won't even bother
supporting XHTML 2.0 for a few releases yet of IE. Mozilla etc. will
probably pick it up faster, but I don't see them getting rid of
support for old-fashioned HTML anytime soon.
