Well.... I've found 21,000 hits in English for Langka, but if you asked most English speakers what it was, they'd give you a blank look (and I know this from experience. I've discussed Filipino food in front of 20 - 30 classmates in University and they all ask me what that is, unless they're Filipino).. I've found 60,800 hits for the English name, Jackfruit, but I know few Americans who know what even *that* is, and this area has large numbers of Filipino , Vietnamese, and Thai immigrants, so it's not like langka would be difficult to get ahold of. I also found 10,500 hits for Sinigang, but again, I doubt you'll find a lot of speakers of English who know what that is (it is a soup with a tamarind base). What's with the snippyness, Pascal? -- You can turn away from me but there's nothing that'll keep me here you know And you'll never be the city guy Any more than I'll be hosting The Scooby Show Scooby Show - Belle and Sebastian
