Between conjugated forms, there are loads. As you pointed out, you get the closing consonants changing in stuff like pouvoir/je peux, but I get the feeling that those forms have just been corrupted. You get a better idea by comparing the 2PL and 3PL forms - for example buvez/boivent, devez/doivent, voulez/veulent... is that the sort of thing you mean? K.
