Unless the total value is really high, it passes without a problem - I
once bought the collected works of Poe and a manuscript of Clark Ashton
Smith, and that came to $600,-, and there wasn't any tax on that.

I'm glad I don't like in Denmark then! I can't imagine that Denmark is
better stocked with bookshops than the Netherlands, and I often can't
find what I want to buy in the Netherlands.
