[snip snip] FWIW, these are the Twelve (十二支) in Japanese: 子丑寅卯辰巳午未申酉戌亥 and the Ten (十干): 甲乙丙丁戊己庚辛壬癸 I could also give you the characters for the twelve animals, but (a) one or two of them differ between Japanese and Chinese and (b) I imagine you can find them for yourself as well.
