Today was the first day of my Phonetics & Phonology class at college, and
at the end of class the professor handed out an information sheet, asking
for all the usual stuff, like name, phone number, e-mail address,
previous linguistics classes, what languages spoken, etc.
The last question was "why are you taking this class?", so i wrote
something like:
~
Interested in linguistics - I'm also a "conlanger"
~
(also in the sense of, i'm interested not just that, but i'm a conlanger,
too; i hope she understood it properly)
So now i'm worrying whether that was the right choice or not.
I guess i'll find out on thursday :-O

"You will begin to touch heaven, Jonathan, in the moment
that you touch perfect speed. And that isn't flying a thousand
miles an hour, or a million, or flying at the speed of light.
Because any number is a limit, and perfection doesn't have
limits. Perfect speed, my son, is being there."
